John Daniels has been a leader in the North American building industry for the past 50 years. As Chairman of The Cadillac Fairview Development Corporation, Daniels participated in the creation of such landmarks as the Toronto Eaton Centre and the Toronto-Dominion Centre. He was also a driving force behind the ‘New Town’ of Erin Mills in Mississauga, Canada’s first true master-planned community, before founding The Daniels Corporation in 1982. Since then, under the direction of a dynamic management team, the company has developed and built over 18,000 homes and apartments in a diverse range of award-winning communities. Daniels’ achievements have been recognized by the Tarion Warranty Corporation in winning the prestigious “Ontario High Rise Builder of the Year” award, the first ever “Home Builder of the Year” award from the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) and Daniels is also a 3-time winner of the Mississauga Urban Design Award.
