My Spanish Adventures- Costa Blanca
My passion for travel – Nothing in my life gives me greater joy than travelling. (Sorry mom. Sorry pop. Sorry babes). When I’m at home in England all I can think about is when I will get to travel next. When I’m out on one of my wicked adventures I can’t help but subconsciously pick up tips and ideas for my next trips. I love every new location I get to visit. It doesn’t matter whether it a breath-taking rainforest resort in Africa, an exotic Caribbean island or a busy Asian city. However, a few locations stand out and have a special spot on my favorites list. Costa Blanca, Spain is high on this list and here is a fun story of why I fell in love with this seaside paradise.
Costa Blanca now officially off my bucket list Costa Blanca has been on my travel bucket list for years. I mean, what self-respecting beach bum wouldn’t want to visit one of the most beautiful coastlines on the planet? I finally got to live the dream a few months ago when my boyfriend, A.K.A Babes, suggested we go there for a long weekend retreat. This might be a biased opinion but I truly believe that Costa Blanca, Spain is one of the most beautiful locations on the planet. We opted for small town vibes over city hustles and chose to stay at a quaint little hotel in the coastal town of Calp. We had so much fun exploring the little fishing town, visiting the historic Queen’s Baths ruins and bird watching at the local bird sanctuary.
The highlight of the trip, at least for me, was getting to swim in the crystal blue waters and laze on the incredibly white shores. I spent what by partner considered way too much time on the beach but I honestly wouldn’t have had it any other way. In a nutshell, this little piece of Costa Blanca, Spain was all I imagined and so much more. The only thing I regret about by Costa Blanca visit is not getting scale the entire coastline. But no worries; there is always next time. Plan your visit what I just shared with you about Costa Blanca is truly just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many places to visit along the coastline. If you want a modern city setting then Denia and Alicante would be great options. For something more laid back, then Elche, Xabia and El Campello will deliver with their authentic small-town vibes. Just find out more about this vast Mediterranean gem and you should be able to plan your perfect holiday.
